Edition 2025 — Schützenfest Lürschau
In 2025, the Lürschau Marksmen's Guild of 1907 once again invited guests to its two festival days: Vogelschießen and crowning of the king on a Saturday in June, followed by the Schützenball on the following weekend in the community center. As every year, the event followed the classic schedule, with the guild's assembly, a procession, and a festive evening of dancing.
The 2025 edition of the Schützenfest continued the tradition unbroken since 1907. The guild met on the first Saturday for the Vogelschießen, determined the new dignitaries, and proceeded to a joint royal toast in the evening. A week later, the Schützenball took place in the Lürschau community center, with a dance band and a shared meal.
As in most Lürschau club years, the focus was on conviviality and the cultivation of tradition — the actual shooting result was secondary.
