Overview
The Schützenfest Lünen-Süd 2025 followed its established tradition: bird shoot on the first weekend, crowning of the king and queen, and parade on the second. The Schützenverein 1925 Lünen-Süd und Umgebung e.V. once again managed to mobilize several thousand visitors for the parade on the second Sunday. The festival remains one of the most vibrant district festivals in the city of Lünen.
In 2025, preparations for the club's 100th anniversary in 2026 were already in full swing. Club structures, the marching band, and the young archery team continued to establish themselves; many young families from Lünen-Süd support the club. The results of 2025 motivated ambitious planning for the 2026 anniversary.
