In the Lothe-Brakelsiek rotation rhythm, 2025 was the year for the neighboring village of Brakelsiek — the Lothe Marksmen's Association used the break year to prepare for the grand 2026 anniversary Schützenfest. Club activities — shooting competitions, annual meeting (with a record 116 participants), wine festival, and member honors — continued unabated and brought the club a successful preceding year.

The 2025 rotation year for the Lothe marksmen was entirely focused on preparing for the 150th anniversary in 2026. The annual meeting with its record 116 participants, the doubling of visitor numbers at the Lothe wine festival, and the honoring of long-time members (50, 40, and 20 years) demonstrated the club's unbroken vitality. From the break year in the Schützen rotation rhythm with neighboring Brakelsiek, the plan for the unusually elaborate anniversary with Stereoact and Lena-Marie Engel in the festival tent emerged — a highlight that is intended to fittingly mark the 150-year history.
