The 2025 Schützenfest of Schützenverein Leer-Dorf 1626 e.V. took place in June 2025 at the festival tent at Kalvarienberg, as preparation for the 400th anniversary in 2026. Classic three-day format with bird shooting, king's coronation, and parade.
Schützenfest 2025
The 2025 edition continued the annual tradition of the Schützenverein Leer-Dorf and laid the groundwork for the 400th anniversary in 2026. With bird shooting, coronation of the new king, and a parade, the festival followed the classic Münsterland format. In 2025, preparations for the jubilee edition were intensively underway within the club — from the creation of the commemorative book to inviting friendly clubs for the grand parade in 2026.
