The Kirchhundem Schützenfest took place in 2025 on the 2nd weekend of August — as usual, three days of Sauerland tradition with an opening evening, festival high mass, king's shooting, coronation ball, and parade on Sunday. Organizer Schützenverein Kirchhundem 1908 e.V. with around 780 members.

In 2025, the Kirchhundem Schützenfest also followed the proven Sauerland ritual: march, shooting mass, king's shooting, coronation, parade on Sunday. Hundreds of marksmen from the Olpe district and friendly clubs from the Sauerland participated in the Sunday parade.

The festival confirmed the firm place that the Schützenverein 1908 e.V. holds in the village life of Kirchhundem — youth work, shooting sports, sociability, and religious accompaniment are not clichés but lived reality in the club.
