Overview

The Hellenthal Schützenfest 2025 took place as every year on a weekend in June – with king's shooting, parade, and festival tent at the Bogenstraße festival grounds. The St. Sebastianus Marksmen's Brotherhood thus preserves the traditional Eifel marksmen's customs. Four days of Eifel customs by the St. Sebastianus Marksmen's Brotherhood. King's shooting, parade, and coronation at the Bogenstraße festival grounds – one of the most important brotherhood events in the southern Euskirchen district.

The 2025 edition continued the Hellenthal marksmen's tradition. Four days of festivities with tent inspection, king's shooting, coronation, and a grand parade through the town.

Thursday began with the traditional tent inspection, followed by an early gathering and drawing of the shooting order on Friday. Saturday saw the king's shooting at the bird shooting facility, with the coronation and King's Ball with dancing in the evening. Sunday featured the festival service and the Grand Parade through Hellenthal with brotherhoods from the region, music bands, and the new king and queen. Festival tent catering with local gastronomy was available throughout the four days.
