Overview
The 2025 marksmen's festival of the Gütersloh City Marksmen's Society v. 1832 was celebrated in August in the Heidewald. The king's shooting competition, parade, festival tent, and ball proceeded as traditional — the society crowned a new royal couple and concluded the summer festival series from the districts of Niehorst, Kattenstroth, and Nordhorn.
The City Marksmen's Society maintained its widespread tradition in 2025, as every year: four marksmen's festivals in four districts, with the main festival in Heidewald as the highlight. The format remains unchanged for 2026.
