Edition 2025 — Schützenfest Essen-Borbeck

The Schützenfest of the ABSV Essen-Borbeck 1833 took place in June 2025 at the Neuer Markt festival tent — with an ecumenical service in St. Dionysius, a grand parade on Saturday, and prize shooting on Sunday. Organizer: ABSV Essen-Borbeck 1833 e.V.

Schützenfest 2025

The 2025 edition followed the ABSV's established multi-day choreography: pre-festival day, ecumenical service, parade with civic ball, prize shooting with coronation. The high participation of Borbeck's residents — both as spectators at the parade and attendees at the civic ball — confirmed the festival's established position in Borbeck's summer calendar. The 2025 event laid the groundwork for the upcoming 2026 edition.
