Overview
In 2025, the BSV Erle-Middelich 1896 e.V. also celebrated its traditional Schützenfest in two stages – bird shooting at the beginning of August, and the enthronement of the new royal couple a week later in the festival tent. The highlight of the club's activities in the north of Gelsenkirchen, organized by the board led by Thomas Timpert.
Schützenfest 2025
The 2025 edition followed the established format: bird shooting at the beginning of August to determine the new king, and a week later, the festive coronation in the festival tent on the club grounds in Gelsenkirchen-Erle.
As every year, all club departments – Officers, Sports Shooters, Ladies, Seniors, and the Youth Department – participated in the festival weekend. The reigning Emperor and Empress Peter II and Petra I Weinert accompanied the festivities in a representative capacity.
