The Schützenfest BSV 1856 Walsum 2025 took place from July 4th to 6th at the Kaiserstraße festival tent. Festival parade, Zapfenstreich, bird shooting, and king's crowning — the annual highlight in the event calendar of northern Duisburg, with Wacholderkirmes at the festival grounds.

The 2025 edition confirmed the BSV Schützenfest's position as the most important club event in Alt-Walsum. Three days of tradition with a parade on Saturday and the king's crowning on Sunday — the concept has been successful for decades without significant changes.
