Overview

The Schützenfest Düsseldorf-Hubbelrath 2025 was marked by the Holy Year: a delegation from the brotherhood made a pilgrimage to Rome and participated in an audience there. Subsequently, the brotherhood was awarded the Anno Santo Cross — an honor only possible every 25 years and presented in the Basilica of St. Quirin in Neuss. Sven and Melanie Winkelhahne were proclaimed King and Queen 2025/26.

The 2025 festival year was exceptional for the brotherhood: during the Holy Year, a delegation made a pilgrimage to Rome — a tradition of historical German marksmen's brotherhoods. The highlight was the awarding of the Anno Santo Cross by the Federation of Historical Marksmen's Brotherhoods in the Basilica of St. Quirin in Neuss. With the coronation of King and Queen Sven and Melanie Winkelhahne, the classic parade through Hubbelrath, and the King's Mass, the Schützenfest was celebrated in its usual form — supported by the rural District 7 on the eastern edge of Düsseldorf.
