Edition 2025 — Schützenfest Buke
The Schützenfest Buke 2025 took place in June and followed the established tradition of Sauerland-East Westphalian Schützenfeste. The Buke shooting club was the organizer, and the festival grounds were the village's own Schützenplatz in the Altenbeken district. The weekend was characterized by a parade, the 'Vogelschuss', and a festival tent.

In June 2025, the Buke shooting club continued its annual tradition. Three days of parades, the 'Vogelschuss', proclamation of the king, and a festival tent – the classic sequence that characterizes the Schützenfeste in the three Altenbeken districts every year.
Buke thus remains one of the three fixed Schützenfeste in the municipality of Altenbeken, alongside Altenbeken main town and Schwaney. The density of clubs ensures a continuous festival calendar in the region.
