The 2025 Schützenfest of the Bürgerschützengilde Olfen 1682 was the last Schützenfest under the previous concept and on the festival grounds used before the redesign in 2026. With bird presentation, Grand Tattoo on Friday evening, bird shooting on Saturday, festival parade on Sunday, and wood auction on Monday, it followed the classic four-day schedule.

Review 2025 — Last Schützenfest in the Old Concept

The 2025 Schützenfest of the Bürgerschützengilde Olfen 1682 took place in June, as in previous years, and followed the classic four-day schedule of Westphalian Schützenfeste: bird presentation and Grand Tattoo on Friday evening, bird shooting on Saturday to determine the king couple, festival parade on Sunday, and the traditional Olfen wood auction on Monday morning as a closing event.

It was also the last Schützenfest in the previous event format — the board decided on a fundamental revision of the concept and festival grounds design for the 2026 edition, marking a new beginning after 343 years of fraternity history.
