In 2025, the Bürener Bürgerschützen e.V. also celebrated their traditional Schützenfest. Anna-Lena and Christoph Neesen were newly crowned King and Queen this year — they reign until the 2026 bird shooting. Three days with parade, King's ball, and high mass.

The 2025 edition of the Bürener Bürgerschützen's Schützenfest marked the start of the current reign of King and Queen Anna-Lena and Christoph Neesen. At the 2025 bird shooting, they hit the final fragment and thus took over the royal office for one year — an honor associated with numerous representative duties in the shooting fraternity.

The Büren Schützenfest is one of about 70 Schützenfeste held annually in the Paderborn district. This density makes the Hochstift Paderborn one of the most important regions for Schützenfeste in Germany, alongside the Sauerland and Münsterland.
