Edition 2025 — BSG-Schützenfest
The BSG 1546 Schützenfest was led in 2025 by King André Ahmann and Queen Meike Herkenhoff. The traditional programme — assembly Oberer Markt, procession, wreath-laying, King's Shoot, proclamation — was followed as for decades. The Bürgerschützen-Gesellschaft continued a tradition dating back almost five centuries.
In 2025, the proven schedule was again successful. André Ahmann and Meike Herkenhoff formed the royal couple — both will hand over their honours to the new majesties in 2026.
