The 2025 Brakel marksmen's festival took place over four days at the end of June, featuring the Grand Tattoo, King's Shoot, ceremonial parade, and King's Ball. The Bürger-Schützenverein 1567 continued the centuries-old festival tradition in the Hochstift Paderborn.
In 2025, the citizens of Brakel once again gathered for their marksmen's festival. Four days of events with the Tattoo, King's Shoot, festival church service, and ceremonial parade demonstrated that the tradition of the Bürger-Schützenverein of 1567 remains unbroken. The admission bands for the breakfast were still sold on the day of the festival in 2025 — the advance sales premiere is planned for 2026.
