Overview
In 2025, the citizens of Brakel once again gathered for their marksmen's festival. Four days of events with the Tattoo, King's Shoot, festival church service, and ceremonial parade demonstrated that the tradition of the Bürger-Schützenverein of 1567 remains unbroken. The admission bands for the breakfast were still sold on the day of the festival in 2025 — the advance sales premiere is planned for 2026.

Four days of marksmen's festival with Tattoo on Thursday, military parade on Friday, King's dance on Friday/Saturday, and festival Sunday with morning muster, church service, and King's proclamation.
