In 2025, Schützenverein Norden and Schützengilde Sandkuhle celebrated their last separate Schützenfeste before the clubs will celebrate jointly for the first time in 2026. Both clubs prepared for the historic collaboration in 2026.
The decision for a joint Schützenfest edition in 2026 was publicly made in 2025. The two clubs communicated early on that the joint format would combine tradition and economic efficiency.
