Overview
The Schützenfest Altenhundem 2025 took place in July 2025 in the usual Sauerland tradition — four days of parades, dance evenings, and bird shooting in the Sauerlandhalle. The royal dynasty for 2025/26 was contested at the bird shooting: King Peter Becker, Young King Christian Thöne, Emperor Martin „Putt" Schneider.

The 2025 edition followed the proven program. The highlight was the bird shooting on the final day with the coronation of the new royal dynasty: King Peter Becker, Young King Christian Thöne, Emperor Martin „Putt" Schneider. Several thousand visitors and club members celebrated in the Volksbank-Arena Sauerlandhalle.
Subsequently, the association announced the 2026 edition for July 10-13, 2026 — tradition continues, the program remains proven.
