Overview

The 2025 shooting festival of the St. Sebastianus Schützenbruderschaft Aldenhoven 1506 e.V. took place in July — Saturday to Monday — at the Aldenhoven festival grounds. A religious shooting mass, coronation ball, flower parade on Sunday, and king bird shooting on Monday characterized the festival weekend. The nearly 520-year-old fraternity tradition was once again upheld with the 2025 edition, and the new shooting king was crowned.

The St. Sebastianus Schützenbruderschaft Aldenhoven 1506 e.V. held its 2025 shooting festival in July — on the weekend of July 19th to 21st. The choreography followed the classic Rhineland pattern with religious anchoring: shooting mass Saturday 6:30 PM, procession and coronation ball on Saturday 8 PM, flower parade Sunday with king's ball in the evening, morning ceremony and king bird shooting on Monday 2 PM.

The nearly 520-year history of the fraternity — founded in 1506 — was once again visibly integrated into the life of Aldenhoven's district with the 2025 edition. A new majesty was crowned and will lead the fraternity until the next king's shooting in 2026.
