Edition 2025 — Operetta Summer Schönebeck
The 27th edition of the Schönebeck Operetta Summer in summer 2025 featured another operetta from the classical repertoire on the Bierer Berg open-air stage. Four weeks of performances with live accompaniment by the Mitteldeutsche Kammerphilharmonie, covered seating as usual, and consistently sold-out advance sales.
In 2025, the festival continued its tradition of presenting a different operetta from the golden age of the genre each year. As always, the festival collaborated with regional and national soloists, and the Mitteldeutsche Kammerphilharmonie provided the musical direction. The audience came from Magdeburg, Halle, Dessau, Berlin, and the surrounding areas – many of them long-time regulars.
