Overview

The Schnittstellenfestival 2025 took place at the end of November at the Musikbunker Aachen. Seven concerts featuring the Aachen Symphony Orchestra, the Xenon Quartet, Nitai Hershkovits, Scholtes & Janssels Piano Duo, Diego Jascalevich & Tony Lakatos, Francesco Tristano & Kai Schumacher, and the Darius Jones Trio marked the concert series.

In 2025, the Schnittstellenfestival was held from November 21st to 30th at the Musikbunker Aachen — a ten-day festival week with seven concerts. The 2025 program combined symphonic music (Aachen Symphony Orchestra, Nov 21st), saxophone crossover (Xenon Quartet vs. Winterreise, Nov 22nd), jazz (Nitai Hershkovits Nov 23rd, Diego Jascalevich & Tony Lakatos Nov 28th, Darius Jones Trio Nov 30th), piano duo (Scholtes & Janssels Nov 27th), and the piano crossover duo Francesco Tristano & Kai Schumacher (Nov 29th).

All concerts took place at the Musikbunker Aachen (Rehmannstraße); weekday concerts started at 8:00 PM, weekend concerts at 7:00 PM. Tickets were available via musikbunkeraachen.bigcartel.com.
