Overview

The Schnecke-Fescht 2025 continued Pfaffenweiler's tradition unbroken since 1977. On a September weekend, 13 clubs opened the historic winegrowers' courtyards, served Markgräfler wines, and offered the famous snail specialties – a classic on the Baden-Württemberg festival calendar.

The Schnecke-Fescht 2025 once again attracted thousands of wine and food lovers to the small Markgräfler wine village of Pfaffenweiler. Over three festival days in early September, 13 local clubs opened the centuries-old winegrowers' courtyards along Kapellenstraße. The focus was on Markgräfler wines directly from Pfaffenweiler winegrowers, culinary specialties such as snails in herb butter and snail bread, an Alemannic costume group, and live music in the courtyards. The Schnaigerle walk on Saturday afternoon offered a culinary stroll and personal encounters with the winegrowers. Free admission. In 2025, the festival once again proved to be one of the most beautiful wine festivals in southern Baden-Württemberg.
