Overview
The 2025 Schnaittenbacher Vitus-Kirwa took place as is traditional in mid-June with the Kirwabaum raising, festival service, parade, and tree dance. 28 couples in traditional Upper Palatinate costume performed the traditional dances Sternpolka and Muhradl, Frühschoppen and auction of the Kirwabaum concluded the Kirwa on Monday.
The 2025 edition confirmed the firm anchoring of the Vitus-Kirwa in the Upper Palatinate Kirwa tradition. The Schnoittenbecker KirwaVerein e.V., led by Daniel Hutzler, organised a four-day programme with a classic structure.
The highlight, as always, was the Baumaustanzen on Vitus Sunday around the decorated Kirwabaum.
