The Schmöllner Marktfest 2025 took place, as every year, in spring on the market square. Button Princess Constanze I. cut the Button Cake, the fire department raised the Maypole, and a live band played in the evening. Family activities with pony rides and a carousel completed the picture.

Marktfest 2025 — Tradition Cherished

As every year, Schmölln celebrated its Marktfest in spring 2025. The market square became a stage — the Maypole raising by the fire department, the cutting of the Button Cake by Button Princess Constanze I. (in office since 2014), and the evening live band are fixed components that make the festival an anchor in Schmölln's festival culture. For children, there were, as always, pony rides, a carousel, and a prize stall.
