In 2025, the conception and preparation for the first Schmölln Mutzbraten Championship in 2026 were advanced: sponsor acquisition, participant recruitment, conception of the Mutzbraten exhibition, and preparation of the accompanying farmers' market.
Schmölln 2025 — Preparation for the Mutzbraten Premiere
Throughout 2025, Schmölln focused on the intensive conception of the first Mutzbraten Championship in 2026. Sponsor acquisition (DWP Werbetechnik, Dellentechnik Boge, WOLF Essgenuss, LOTTER METALL), recruitment of participating teams, conception of the accompanying Mutzbraten exhibition, and preparation of the farmers' market characterized the year. The Mutzbraten tradition of Schmölln was re-staged as culinary festival culture with Knopfstadt e.V. and the city.
