Overview

The Schmidmühlner Kirwa 2025 was celebrated from September 6 to 8 at the Mühlwiese festival grounds — with 20 Kirwa couples, a Kirwabaum erected right next to the festival tent, a festive church service, roast pork meal, tree dancing on Sunday afternoon, and the traditional auction of the Kirwabaum on Monday evening. Organizer: Kirwagemeinschaft Schmidmühlen.

The Schmidmühlner Kirwa 2025 followed the classic and complete Upper Palatinate Kerwa rhythm. On Saturday, September 6, the Kirwabaum was erected right next to the festival tent at 1 p.m.; from 8 p.m., the „Stoapfälzer Spitzbuam" played for the opening dance.

On Sunday, September 7, the day began at 9:30 a.m. with the festive church service and the brass band „St. Ägidius", followed by Frühschoppen, roast pork meal, and the central tree dancing at 3 p.m. with the duo „HeJo". From 5 p.m., „Power Hoch 5" accompanied coffee and cake. Monday, September 8, started with lunch at 11:30 a.m., the seniors' afternoon at 2 p.m., the dance evening at 7 p.m., and concluded at 10 p.m. with the auction of the Kirwabaum.
