Schmalkalder Stadtfest with Hirschessen and Bartholomäusmarkt — Edition 2025

Previous Edition 2025 — 33rd Edition

The 33rd edition from August 28th to 31st, 2025, continued the established format. On the main stages Altmarkt and Weinmarkt, bands played Jazz, Electronic Dance, Party Pop, and Folk Music. The traditional Hirschaufzug on Saturday morning drew thousands of spectators through the old town. An interactive children's concert party delighted the youngest visitors. The Tattoo Convention, the «Böhmisches Dorf», and the Villa K rounded off the program. With the bus shuttle from neighboring communities and the established pricing system (€5-10 per day, 4-day pass €15), the Stadtfest confirmed its role as the largest event in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen region.
