Overview
The 2025 edition of the Schmachtendorfer Kröößkärmes took place on the 2nd weekend of September in the Schmachtendorf town center, as in previous years. Historic rides, traditional opening fireworks, Wine Street, and Oktoberfest tent with brass music, Sunday shopping — one of the oldest funfairs in the Ruhr area.
In 2025, the Kröößkärmes once again attracted tens of thousands of visitors from Oberhausen, Bottrop, Dinslaken, and the northern Ruhr area. The Schmachtendorfer Interessengemeinschaft continued its proven concept of village funfair, Wine Street, and Oktoberfest tent.
