Overview
Die Dreigroschenoper was not yet part of the festival programme in 2025 – the Schwerin premiere production as part of the Schlossfestspiele will take place in 2026. The Schlossfestspiele Schwerin have been held every summer since 1993 as an open-air format of the Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater.
"Die Dreigroschenoper" will be staged for the first time as part of the Schlossfestspiele Schwerin in 2026. In previous years, other major open-air productions shaped the programme of the Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater's festival season, which has existed since 1993. With the Brecht-Weill classic, the theatre is setting a new focus in the theatre tent at the Küchengarten in 2026.
