Schlossfest Jagdschloss Granitz — Edition 2025

An Established Summer Tradition

In 2025, Schlossfest Granitz once again invited visitors to the traditional medieval market around the hunting lodge. Over 100 craftspeople, Vikings, jugglers, and musicians created the market according to a tried-and-tested formula; the approximately 4,000 to 5,000 visitors found on the forest paths between the stalls what has defined the festival for almost three decades: rustic catering from the wood-fired oven, combat demonstrations at the Viking encampment, and a dense program of hands-on activities for children.

As always, climbing the castle's observation tower was included in the admission price in 2025 – the cast-iron spiral staircase with its 154 steps is one of the island's most famous structures and a reward for every Schlossfest visitor with a panoramic view over the Bodden landscape and the Baltic Sea.
