Overview

The Schloss- und Schützenfest Zschopau 2025 took place from August 29th to 31st at Wildeck Castle. Three days of program with rock concerts, brass music from partner cities, crossbow shooting, king's shooting, and a family Sunday.

In 2025, the Schloss- und Schützenfest Zschopau again followed its proven program arc: Friday rock and DJ, Saturday brass music and cover bands, Sunday family program with church service, children's activity stations, and motorcycle church service. The Zschopau shooting club, as every year, organized the traditional crossbow shooting with king's shooting — a custom practiced in many mining towns in the Ore Mountains. The festival attracted visitors from the entire region around Marienberg, Annaberg, and Chemnitz.
