The 38th edition of the Schleusinger Countryfestival once again attracted thousands of country fans to Bergsee Ratscher in 2025. Three days of live country music on the open-air stage, camping by the lake, line dance workshops, and a western market confirmed the festival's status as one of Germany's most important Country Open-Airs.
The 2025 edition continued the tradition maintained since 1988. Bands from Germany, the USA, and Scandinavia alternated on stage, and the Bergsee transformed into a country village for a week. The preceding Country Camp offered regular guests daily live music and line dance workshops. The western market and camping shaped the atmosphere — Southern Thuringian cuisine catered to the audience. The festival reaffirmed its reputation as a reliable mid-summer event for the country community.
