Edition 2025 — Schleusenfest Hooge

In 2025, too, on August 1st, the people of Hooge and their guests met at the Hallig's sailing harbor for the Schleusenfest. The Opti Regatta, Tautreken competition, and Halligen gastronomy once again made the festival the convivial highlight of the summer on the second-largest of the North Frisian Halligen.

The 2025 edition followed the format developed over years by the Hallig Segel Club Hooge. In the Wadden Sea World Heritage, the Schleusenfest is one of the most authentic summer events — no mass tourism, but local tradition, volunteer commitment, and Halligen atmosphere. With the 2025 edition, the tradition was continued, and the August 1st date was reaffirmed in the Hallig's annual calendar.
