Edition 2025 — Scheunenhof-Fest Sundhausen
The Scheunenhof-Fest Sundhausen 2025 took place in August 2025 at the historic Scheunenhof — featuring a farmers' market with regional products, demonstrations of old agricultural machinery, pony rides and farm animals for children, along with bratwurst stands and coffee with homemade cake. The Heimatverein Sundhausen and Liebram Nordhausen organized the festival.
Scheunenhof-Fest 2025
As every year, the historic Scheunenhof in Sundhausen transformed into a farmers' market with a family program in 2025. Direct marketers from the Nordhausen district — cheese from the Südharz, honey, bread, sausage, fruit, liqueurs — set up their stalls. Demonstrations of old agricultural machinery, such as scything and starting a historic tractor, attracted visitors. Pony rides and encounters with farm animals (sheep, goats, chickens) made the day a destination for families. The Heimatverein Sundhausen remained the custodian of the tradition in 2025.
