Edition 2025 — Stadtfest Schelklingen
The Schelklingen Stadtfest took place on July 26 and 27, 2025, between the town hall and the library. Barrel tapping ceremony on Saturday at 5 PM, Schelklingen town band, from 8:30 PM dance band Magic Moments until 2 AM. On Sunday, ecumenical service at 10:30 AM, performances by the Schmiechen music association, Moonay dance school, TSV Schelklingen judo, JuKa youth band, music school, and more. Blautopfbähnle, puppet theater, town museum open.
The Revived Festival Culture
The 2025 Stadtfest in Schelklingen was part of the festival culture revived in 2023 after a four-year Corona break. The event on the last weekend of July solidified the proven format: Saturday barrel tapping and dance band, Sunday family day with a packed program of around 10 local performances and the Blautopfbähnle for children's rides.
The positive response and the established network of clubs form the basis for the continuation in 2026 with an identical structure. The festival is thus one of the annual summer highlights of the Alb-Donau district.
