Edition 2025 — Pfingstvolksfest Ingolstadt
The 77th Schanzer Pfingstvolksfest 2025 took place, as is traditional around Pentecost, on the Volksfestplatz at Dreizehnerstraße. For ten days, the proven mix of a parade, beer tapping, rides, two festival tents with live music, and grand fireworks shaped the program — as with every year. Senior Afternoon, Family Afternoon, and the culinary offerings of the festival caterers and showmen made the 2025 Pentecost Volksfest a must-attend event in the Upper Bavarian Volksfest landscape.
The 77th edition followed the tradition of previous years: a parade from the old town to the Volksfestplatz, beer tapping by the mayor in the Herrnbräu festival tent, two fireworks displays, and ten days of festival activities with rides, beer tent atmosphere, and culinary delicacies.
As with every Volksfest in the Upper Bavarian Danube city, the weekend evenings in the festival tents were particularly well attended. Reservations, especially for Friday and Saturday evenings, were recommended. The Family Afternoon concept with reduced ride prices proved successful again in 2025.
