The Sassnitz Christmas Market also took place in 2025 on the first Advent weekend in the old town. Craft stalls, mulled wine, and Christmas cookies marked the beginning of the Christmas season in the harbor town on the island of Rügen.
In 2025, the Sassnitz Christmas Market once again ushered in the Christmas season in the harbor town. In the old town, craft stalls, the scent of mulled wine and Christmas cookies, and atmospheric lights created a wintery atmosphere.
The family-friendly market was a cozy meeting place for locals and the few winter guests of the island of Rügen – a contemplative start to Advent, away from the summer peak season.
