The 2025 edition definitively established the concept of two pillars – the Wednesday and Friday programs on Karl-Gatzweiler-Platz – in the city's event calendar after the success of the first season in 2024. Cover bands on Wednesdays, children's and community stages on Fridays, plus an open-air highlight to close the season.
The second edition of the open-air summer in Sankt Augustin was well received by citizens, associations, and the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. The city explicitly stated the goal of permanently revitalizing the city center around the Karl-Gatzweiler-Platz, redesigned in 2023 – an objective shared by many medium-sized cities in North Rhine-Westphalia.
