Säckingen Chamber Music Evenings

The 78th season proceeded with the established concert calendar and the usual high quality of invited ensembles and soloists. The focus of the 2024/25 season, as always, was intimate chamber music in the Kursaal — string quartets, piano trios, solo piano recitals, and song programs. For decades, the concert series has thrived on the mix of established stars and emerging talents from the international chamber music scene. Foundation support from Volksbank Rhein-Wehra and the Ladislaus and Annemarie von Ehr Foundation once again enabled affordable ticket prices. The audience from Bad Säckingen, the Hochrhein region, Basel, and Zurich remained loyal to the series — thus, the conditions for the 79th season 2025/26 with its highlights Sestetto Stradivari, Ilya Shmukler, and Atos Trio were ideal.
