The 14th Saxon Hiking Day took place in 2025 in another Saxon region (rotating host location). As every year, the hiking weekend attracted thousands of hiking enthusiasts from all over the Free State with guided tours, a specialist forum, a tourism fair, and a family program. In 2026, the festival moves on to Großenhain (15th edition).
14th Saxon Hiking Day 2025
Alternating annually between different tourism regions of Saxony, the 14th Saxon Hiking Day took place in 2025 — with the proven format of guided hiking tours, a specialist forum, a tourism fair, and a convivial cultural accompanying program. The event once again created a platform for hiking clubs, tourism professionals, and hiking enthusiasts. In 2026, the festival moves on to Großenhain (15th edition).
