Overview
In 2025, the International Sachsenring Cycling Race also took place — the 86th edition on the 3.671 km long MotoGP circuit brought together licensed riders and amateurs from Central Germany and neighboring countries. Several classes, winner award ceremonies, and the amateur race formed the proven format. The 87th edition will follow in 2026 on August 30.
Sachsenring Cycling Race — The Tradition
Since 1948, the Sachsenring Cycling Race has attracted talents and amateur athletes to Germany's most famous motorcycle circuit. The second half of the season is the traditional main period, with the main race at the end of August. In 2025, the format with multiple classes ran smoothly. For 2026, both the 85th edition on April 4 (season opening) and the 87th edition on August 30 are planned.
