Overview

The SaarschleifenBike Marathon 2025 took place, as usual, on a Sunday in July in Mettlach — as a combined sports weekend with the SaarschleifenRun. Three MTB distances, hundreds of participants, Saarland sports festival atmosphere.

The 2025 event consistently continued the concept of previous years: three distances with start and finish in Mettlach, refreshment stops along the Saarschleife, pasta party, and expo in the finish area. The parallel SaarschleifenRun complemented the weekend with trail running distances.

Programme

Program structure 2025 as usual: early starts on the long distances, staggered start blocks by distance, pasta party and award ceremonies from noon onwards. E-bike classes on 35 and 50 km. Detailed results available on the festival website.
