Overview

The 2025 edition of RVBang Open Air took place in mid-July 2025 at the Balingen exhibition grounds. Three days of Hard Rock and Metal with headliners from the international scene, camping directly at the festival grounds, and cashless payment. Established Festival on the Swabian Jura

The 2025 edition of RVBang Open Air solidified the festival as one of the most relevant Southern German hard rock and metal events outside of the very large festivals (Wacken, Summer Breeze). The mix of camping atmosphere at the Balingen exhibition grounds, international programming, and the central location at the foot of the Swabian Jura has earned the festival a loyal audience from Southern Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The experiences from 2025 — particularly in camping logistics, the cashless system, and stage management — form the basis for the ambitious 2026 edition featuring Michael Schenker as headliner and Rage accompanied by the Lingua Mortis Orchestra.
