2025 — Advent in Ruit

In 2025, the Ruiter Weihnachtsmarkt followed its proven concept: stalls from local craftspeople and associations at Kronenplatz, chainsaw demonstrations, pony rides in the afternoon, the Staufenexpress miniature train, a visit from St. Nicholas at 3 p.m., and the brass ensemble and music association as musical accompanists. As darkness fell, the square filled with families celebrating the start of Advent with mulled wine and waffles in front of the decorated houses of Ruit. A classic neighborhood Advent market, maintained in the Esslingen district for decades.
