Overview
The Ruhrtriennale 2025 continued its tradition as one of the most important international festivals for music theatre, dance, and installation. Over 30 productions at industrial monument venues in Bochum, Duisburg, Essen, Dortmund, and Gladbeck, featuring premieres and international guest performances.
The Ruhrtriennale 2025 reaffirmed the festival's position as a unique format in Europe. The use of the Ruhr area's monumental industrial monuments — Jahrhunderthalle Bochum, Kraftzentrale Duisburg-Nord, Maschinenhalle Gladbeck, and others — attracted audiences from all over Germany and abroad.
