Overview

The Rückersdorf Kärwa 2025 took place from July 11 to 15. Beer tapping by Mayor Johannes Ballas on Friday evening with the band Sibaschu, raising of the Kärwabaum on Saturday with the Reinswald music band and the band Gin Tonic, wheelbarrow race and tree dance on Tuesday — the traditional Franconian Kirchweih program was carried out as usual.

Review of the 2025 Kärwa

From July 11 to 15, 2025, Rückersdorf celebrated its traditional Franconian Kirchweih. On Friday evening, the Kärwaboum and -madla marched into the festival tent for the opening. First Mayor Johannes Ballas performed the traditional beer tapping, after which the band »Sibaschu« played for a lively start.

On Saturday afternoon, the Kärwaboum fetched the Kärwabaum with a parade to the Schlossgasse festival grounds, accompanied by the Reinswald music band. In the evening, the band »Gin Tonic« played in the festival tent. The highlight was the wheelbarrow race in Schlossgasse on Tuesday, followed by awards and the tree dance.
