Overview

The Rottweil Christmas Market 2025 took place in early December 2025 on Obere Hauptstraße in Rottweil's old town. Opening in front of the town hall, eleven market days with decorated stalls, Swabian gastronomy, Advent choir performances, St. Nicholas, night watchman tours, and city museum tours. One of the most atmospheric Advent events in southern Baden-Württemberg.

Proven Advent Experience

The 2025 edition further solidified the decades-old format of the Rottweil Christmas Market: a concentrated market on Obere Hauptstraße, a medieval backdrop, and a classic Advent program. The positive feedback from the local press (NRWZ — Neue Rottweiler Zeitung reported on an "atmospheric Advent experience") confirms the format.

The city of Rottweil and the Tourist Information will continue the market in 2026 in the same format. The combination of a historic city backdrop, a contemplative atmosphere, and a classic Advent program remains the recipe for success – without attempting to compete with the large southern German markets.
