Overview

The Rottenburg St. Nicholas Market 2025 took place on the 2nd Advent weekend, December 5th to 7th, in the old town of Rottenburg am Neckar. As every year, the market attracted tens of thousands of visitors to the cathedral city on the Neckar with over 80 wooden stalls, a live nativity scene, and St. Nicholas visits.

2025 Edition

In 2025, the St. Nicholas Market ran from December 5th to 7th in the historic old town of Rottenburg am Neckar. The 80 festively decorated wooden stalls around the Market Square and Zehntscheuer offered the full range of Christmas specialties and arts and crafts.

The live nativity scene in the courtyard of the Zehntscheuer with sheep, donkeys, and goats was, as every year, a crowd-puller, especially for families with small children. Multiple St. Nicholas visits, Advent concerts in the Sülchengasse Chapel, and performances by Rottenburg brass bands characterized the program. The organizers drew a positive conclusion and announced the 2026 edition.
