According to a report in the Glocke newspaper on March 4, 2025, the 2025 Rosenmontagszug was one of the most colorful carnival parades in recent years. Floats, walking groups, and participants from the carnival societies of Rheda and Wiedenbrück marched through the city center as is traditional — coordinated by the Rosenmontagskomitee. The positive reception of the 2025 edition laid the foundation for the 2026 Rosenmontagszug, which will take place under the motto “Construction site here, construction site there“ despite main street renovation, with an adjusted route on February 16, 2026.
