Overview

The Rosenmontag parade 2025 took place on March 3 in Saarbrücken-Burbach. Up to 200,000 visitors lined the 3.5 km route, with 80–100 groups, floats, and bands parading through the streets of Burbach.

The Burbach Rosenmontag parade 2025 once again confirmed its reputation as the largest carnival event in Saarland. Despite changeable February weather, carnival-goers, families, and guests from Lorraine and Luxembourg filled the sidewalks. The carnival society "Mir sin do" and its partners from Saarland and neighboring countries offered a colorful program with political satire, traditional floats, and music bands.

Programme

Classic Burbach format: Start at 1:11 PM at Bürgerhaus Rockershausen, route through Luisenthalerstraße and Bergstraße to Burbacher Stern, approx. 80 groups and floats.
